Players enter the wizard's tower. Inside they find a stark room with what appears to have no ceiling. Instead they see sunlight shining from an open roof that seems much much higher away than the actual roof is away. It is barely the size of a coin. The light travels a long way down into the tower and gives the place a gloomy feel.

Around this stark room sit 6 large stone blocks in a circle. Upon each is a rune. Three of the runes are lit with a glow. Three of them are dark. They look like this.

If the characters touch the other lit rune a chime sounds. After a while a portal opens to Archibald who takes them to the library and is happy to help with finding some spells and researching gem magic.

When the characters touch the yellow rune a loud bell sounds. Gormar Xilleth appears and discusses his suspicions about Telitha.

Mahin touches the green rune a loud drum sounds. After a while a mist begins to fill the room. Snarling can be heard within the mists. Rabid fire breathing dogs appear and start to attack Mahin and Alena. Alena fights hard but is knocked unconscious and Ezra and Arcandur come to the rescue. Arcandur summons a storm and fights off the creatures along with Ezra and Mahin.

Alena lays on the floor unconscious.
